On the occasion of National Unity Day  celebrated annually on 31st October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel , the Iron Man of India , a special program was organized at Sri J.C.B.M. College, Sringeri . A total of 62 NCC cadets and 48 NSS volunteers participated in the event and took the National Unity Pledge , reaffirming their commitment to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. The pledge was delivered by Capt. Dr. E. S. K. Udupa , NCC Officer. The function was presided over by Dr. Swamy M. , Principal of the college, while Sri Nagabhushan B.  On 26th September 2025, the Youth Red Cross Unit and NSS Units of Shri JCBM College, Sringeri jointly organized an insightful talk titled “ Food for Health .” The resource person, Dr. Suhas H. D. Doctor,Dhanwanthari hospital,sringeri   addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of balanced food habits and mindful consumption in maintaining good health. He emphasized how dietary choices directly influence physical well-being, immunity, and lifestyle diseases. His engaging session helped students gain practical knowledge about adopting healthy food practices in their daily lives. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. M.   The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor at Sri JCBM College, Sringeri . The program commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Dr. M. Swamy, Principal of the College , who also addressed the gathering. In his speech, he highlighted the significance of freedom, the sacrifices of great leaders, and the responsibility of the younger generation in nation-building. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, Red Cross members, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff . Their presence added to the dignity and patriotic spirit of the occasion. The celebration served not only as a tribute to the nation but also as a reminder of the duties and responsibilities of every citizen. The World Environment Day 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and purpose at Sri Jagadguru Chandrashekhara Bharathi Memorial College, Sringeri , under the aegis of the NSS Unit on 5th June 2025 . The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainable living, aligning with this year’s global theme. The program was graced by Smt. R. S.
