The 79th Independence Day

 The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervor at Sri JCBM College, Sringeri. The program commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Dr. M. Swamy, Principal of the College, who also addressed the gathering. In his speech, he highlighted the significance of freedom, the sacrifices of great leaders, and the responsibility of the younger generation in nation-building.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, Red Cross members, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff. Their presence added to the dignity and patriotic spirit of the occasion.

The celebration served not only as a tribute to the nation but also as a reminder of the duties and responsibilities of every citizen. The program concluded with the singing of patriotic songs and distribution of sweets among the participants

The Kuvempu University Inter-Collegiate Men’s Kabaddi Tournament was successfully hosted for the first time at Sri JCBM College, Sringeri , on March 5th and 6th, 2025 . The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 24 colleges across the university, showcasing intense competition and sportsmanship.
