National unity day

On the occasion of National Unity Day  celebrated annually on 31st October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel , the Iron Man of India , a special program was organized at Sri J.C.B.M. College, Sringeri . A total of 62 NCC cadets and 48 NSS volunteers participated in the event and took the National Unity Pledge , reaffirming their commitment to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. The pledge was delivered by Capt. Dr. E. S. K. Udupa , NCC Officer. The function was presided over by Dr. Swamy M. , Principal of the college, while Sri Nagabhushan B. R. , IQAC Coordinator, graced the occasion. Kumari Chandana , NSS volunteer, efficiently compered the program. Swachhata Hi Seva 2025

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, a Plastic Eradication Program was successfully organized on 25th September 2025 at Gandhi Maidan (Vehicle Parking Area), Sringeri . The event was spearheaded by the NCC of Sri JCBM College in collaboration with the Town Panchayath, Sringeri , under the nationwide theme “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath.” A total of 92 NCC cadets actively took part in the Cleanliness Target Unit Transformation Drive , collecting nearly 600–650 kilograms of garbage . The drive not only promoted the significance of cleanliness but also nurtured values of discipline, teamwork, and social responsibility among the cadets. The initiative left a positive impact on both participants and the local community by reinforcing the message of collective action for a cleaner and plastic-free environment .  Sri JCBM College, Sringeri, joyfully celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August 2025 , commemorating the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand . To mark the occasion, a series of fitness competitions were organized exclusively for NCC cadets, highlighting the values of physical strength, discipline, and teamwork. A total of 90 cadets enthusiastically participated in the events, showcasing their commitment to fitness and sportsmanship. The competitions not only encouraged active participation but also spread awareness on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The 79th Independence Day

  The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervor and patriotic spirit at Sri Jagadguru Chandrashekhara Bharathi Memorial College, Sringeri . The program began with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag by Dr. M. Swamy, Principal of the College , who in his address highlighted the importance of freedom, national unity, and the role of youth in nation-building. A total of 86 NCC cadets took part in the celebration, showcasing their discipline and commitment. The event was witnessed by the teaching and non-teaching staff, NSS volunteers, and Rover & Ranger students , who together created an atmosphere of respect and pride. To mark the occasion, the NCC cadets and NSS volunteers organized a special green initiative . NCC Day Celebration

  NCC Day , observed annually on the fourth Sunday of November, holds special significance as it commemorates the establishment of the National Cadet Corps, which was raised on 15th July 1948 in New Delhi. This year, our college celebrated NCC Day with great enthusiasm and a spirit of service. As part of the celebration, the NCC cadets of our college organized a blood donation drive at  Sri Sharada Dhanvanthari Blood Bank, Sringeri . The event aimed to inspire community service and support lifesaving initiatives. The drive was graced by the esteemed presence of  Dr. Laxminarayana , who served as the chief guest. Under the guidance and leadership of  Capt. Dr. ESK Udupa , NCC Officer of the college, the cadets actively participated in the event, showcasing their dedication to social causes. The blood donation drive was a resounding success, reflecting the cadets' commitment to contributing to society while upholding the core values of the NCC
