Food for Health
On 26th September 2025, the Youth Red Cross Unit and NSS Units of Shri JCBM College, Sringeri jointly organized an insightful talk titled “Food for Health.”
The resource person, Dr. Suhas H. D. Doctor,Dhanwanthari hospital,sringeri addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of balanced food habits and mindful consumption in maintaining good health. He emphasized how dietary choices directly influence physical well-being, immunity, and lifestyle diseases. His engaging session helped students gain practical knowledge about adopting healthy food practices in their daily lives.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. M. Swamy, Principal, Vice Principal Shri Prashant A. G., Shri Sandesh G. S., Program Officer, Youth Red Cross Unit, and Shri Santosh K. S., NSS Program Officer, along with staff members and enthusiastic student volunteers.
The program not only created awareness about the significance of nutritious food but also motivated participants to make conscious efforts toward leading healthier lifestyles
