The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from both PU and degree college students who showcased their analytical abilities and mathematical creativity. The Olympiad was designed to foster problem-solving skills , encourage a healthy competitive spirit, and deepen students’ interest in advanced mathematical concepts such as algebraic number theory, modular forms, and elliptic curves.  The Department of Mathematics, Sri JCBM College, Sringeri, in association with IQAC hosted a successful '' State-Level MathSpire Workshop '' on 5 th May 2025 , aimed at equipping UG, PG students, and research scholars with the tools to excel in IIT-JAM, GATE, CSIR-NET, and K-SET , while also exploring research pathways in mathematics. Held at Dr. H. T. Nirmala Sabhangana , the one-day workshop featured expert sessions by Dr. P. Veeresha and Dr. Ashoka K. , both Assistant Professors from Christ University, Bengaluru.
