Interaction programme for the first-year degree girl students

 The SHe-Box Committee of Sri JCBM College, Sringeri, organized an interaction programme for the first-year degree girl students on 19 August 2026. The programme focused on creating awareness about women’s safety, security, rights and various issues faced by young women. The committee members interacted with the students and provided a comfortable platform for them to openly discuss their concerns, experiences and safety-related issues.

During the interaction, students were sensitized about personal safety, prevention of harassment, reporting concerns, and the support mechanisms available in the college. The importance of confidence, mutual respect, awareness and maintaining a safe and inclusive campus environment was emphasized. The programme provided an opportunity for the students to express their views and seek guidance, making the interaction meaningful and beneficial in promoting women’s safety, dignity and empowerment

 On 26th September 2025, the Youth Red Cross Unit and NSS Units of Shri JCBM College, Sringeri jointly organized an insightful talk titled “ Food for Health .” The resource person, Dr. Suhas H. D. Doctor,Dhanwanthari hospital,sringeri   addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of balanced food habits and mindful consumption in maintaining good health. He emphasized how dietary choices directly influence physical well-being, immunity, and lifestyle diseases. His engaging session helped students gain practical knowledge about adopting healthy food practices in their daily lives. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. M.
