Interview Preparation Bootcamp

The Placement Cell and Personality Skill Development Committee of Sri Jagadguru Chandrashekara Bharathi Memorial College, Sringeri, jointly organized a virtual workshop titled “Interview Preparation Bootcamp” on 2nd August 2025. The session began at 10:00 AM in Main Hall and was aimed at equipping students with the skills and confidence required to face job interviews.

The workshop featured Mrs. Sushma, Senior HR Manager at Celegence, Bangalore, as the resource person. Drawing from her extensive experience in talent acquisition and HR operations, she delivered a highly engaging and practical session focused on:

  • Structuring an impressive resume

  • Common mistakes to avoid in interviews

  • Key expectations of recruiters in the current job market

  • Effective communication and self-presentation techniques

  • Tips for answering HR and technical questions with confidence

Her interactive approach kept the participants actively engaged throughout the session. She also addressed various student queries in a Q&A segment, offering personalized guidance and actionable feedback.

The session was well-attended by final-year students from various streams who are preparing for campus placements and competitive job markets. Participants appreciated the relevance and clarity of the content delivered.

The event concluded successfully, leaving the attendees more confident and better prepared to approach interviews in a professional setting

Inter-Collegiate Men’s Kabaddi Tournament

The Kuvempu University Inter-Collegiate Men’s Kabaddi Tournament was successfully hosted for the first time at Sri JCBM College, Sringeri , on March 5th and 6th, 2025 . The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 24 colleges across the university, showcasing intense competition and sportsmanship.
