workshop on Fire Hazards and Management

 A workshop on Fire Hazards and Management was successfully organized on March 3, 2025, under the joint initiative of the Youth Red Cross Unit and the NSS Unit. The objective of the workshop was to create awareness about fire hazards and equip participants with knowledge on fire prevention and safety measures.

The session was led by Mr. M. Kumar and Mr. Somashekar, Fire Station Officers from Sringeri, who attended as resource persons. They provided valuable insights into various types of fire hazards, safety protocols, and preventive measures. They also demonstrated practical firefighting techniques and emergency response procedures.

The event was presided over by Dr. M. Swamy, Principal, who emphasized the importance of fire safety awareness among students and faculty. Mr. Santosh K. S., NSS Program Officer, and Mr. Sandesh G. S., Red Cross Program Officer, along with other dignitaries, faculty members, and students, actively participated in the session.

The workshop proved to be highly informative and engaging, equipping attendees with essential fire safety knowledge. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of the resource persons and organizers

The Kuvempu University Inter-Collegiate Men’s Kabaddi Tournament was successfully hosted for the first time at Sri JCBM College, Sringeri , on March 5th and 6th, 2025 .
