MathSpire 2025: Inspiring Future Mathematicians

 The Department of Mathematics, Sri JCBM College, Sringeri, in association with IQAC hosted a successful ''State-Level MathSpire Workshop '' on 5th May 2025, aimed at equipping UG, PG students, and research scholars with the tools to excel in IIT-JAM, GATE, CSIR-NET, and K-SET, while also exploring research pathways in mathematics.

Held at Dr. H. T. Nirmala Sabhangana, the one-day workshop featured expert sessions by Dr. P. Veeresha and Dr. Ashoka K., both Assistant Professors from Christ University, Bengaluru. Dr. Veeresha illuminated strategies for competitive exams and shared insights into fractional differential equations, while Dr. Ashoka engaged the audience with concepts in graph theory and practical guidance for clearing national-level tests.

Organized under the leadership of Dr. M. Swamy (Principal) and Dr. Vasanth Chavan (HOD, Mathematics), the event attracted participants from various institutions across Karnataka. With interactive sessions, live problem-solving, and motivational discussions, the workshop achieved its mission of empowering budding mathematicians

Inter-Collegiate Men’s Kabaddi Tournament

The Kuvempu University Inter-Collegiate Men’s Kabaddi Tournament was successfully hosted for the first time at Sri JCBM College, Sringeri , on March 5th and 6th, 2025 . The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 24 colleges across the university, showcasing intense competition and sportsmanship.
