Road Map to Competitive Exams

 Sri JCBM College successfully organized a guidance program titled “Road Map to Competitive Exams” with the objective of motivating and mentoring students to prepare effectively for various competitive examinations. The program aimed to provide clarity, confidence, and strategic direction to aspiring candidates.

The program was chaired by Dr. M. Swamy, Principal, and featured Sri Manjunatha, MA, MEd, NET, as the resource person. The event was graced by the presence of Sri K. C. Rajendra Rao, Industrialist, Hulugaru, as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Dr. Vasanth Chavan (IQAC Coordinator), Sri Vidyadhar M. V. (Placement Officer), Nagabhoshan B. R. (Student Welfare Officer), Prashanta A. G. (PU Vice Principal), Sri Raghavendra M. P., and Sri Sandesh G. S. (Personality and Skill Development Officer).

In his keynote address, Sri Manjunatha provided a comprehensive roadmap for competitive exam preparation, emphasizing goal setting, disciplined study habits, time management, and consistent practice. He motivated students to approach examinations with confidence and persistence. The Chief Guest, Sri K. C. Rajendra Rao, highlighted the role of competitive exams in shaping professional careers and encouraged students to strive for excellence and lifelong learning.

The program offered an interactive platform where students actively engaged with the speakers, clarifying their doubts and gaining practical strategies for exam preparation. The session was informative, inspiring, and highly beneficial for students aspiring for careers in civil services, banking, teaching, and other competitive sectors.

Overall, the program was a great success and served as a valuable initiative in empowering students with direction, motivation, and confidence to excel in competitive examinations

Swachhata Hi Seva 2025

As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, a Plastic Eradication Program was successfully organized on 25th September 2025 at Gandhi Maidan (Vehicle Parking Area), Sringeri . The event was spearheaded by the NCC of Sri JCBM College in collaboration with the Town Panchayath, Sringeri , under the nationwide theme “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath.” A total of 92 NCC cadets actively took part in the Cleanliness Target Unit Transformation Drive , collecting nearly 600–650 kilograms of garbage . The drive not only promoted the significance of cleanliness but also nurtured values of discipline, teamwork, and social responsibility among the cadets.
