Virtual Job Drive 2026

Sri JCBM College, Sringeri, in association with KEY2IR and SGR Technologies (Training & Placement), successfully organized a Virtual Job Drive 2026 on 27th June 2026. The placement drive was conducted in online mode from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM with the objective of providing employment opportunities to final-year students and recent graduates.

The virtual placement drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various disciplines, including BA, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc., BSW, BHM, and 2026 pass-out freshers. More than 1000 job openings were offered by reputed IT and Non-IT companies across Karnataka and nearby locations.

The participating organizations included leading companies such as TCS, Accenture, Muthoot Finance, HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, Manappuram Finance, Shriram Life Insurance, Chola MS, Apollo Pharmacy, Silaris Information Pvt. Ltd., Greet Technology, and several other reputed organizations.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Swamy, Principal of Sri JCBM College, who appreciated the efforts of the placement team in creating employment opportunities for students and encouraged them to make the best use of such initiatives.

The placement drive was coordinated by Mr. Vidhyadhar M. V., Placement Officer, Dr. Vasanth Chavan, IQAC Coordinator with the active support of Mr. Raghavendra, Coordinator of the Personality and Skill Development Committee, and Mr. Srinivas, who organized the job drive in collaboration with the placement partners. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of the online recruitment process.

A major highlight of the drive was the excellent performance of the students. Twenty-three (23) students were successfully selected by Silaris Information Pvt. Ltd. The selection process for the remaining participating companies is currently underway, and the final results are awaited.

The management, Principal, faculty members, and placement committee congratulated the selected students and wished them success in their professional careers. Sri JCBM College remains committed to strengthening industry-academia collaboration and organizing more placement initiatives to enhance the career prospects of its students.

 On 26th September 2025, the Youth Red Cross Unit and NSS Units of Shri JCBM College, Sringeri jointly organized an insightful talk titled “ Food for Health .” The resource person, Dr. Suhas H. D. Doctor,Dhanwanthari hospital,sringeri   addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of balanced food habits and mindful consumption in maintaining good health. He emphasized how dietary choices directly influence physical well-being, immunity, and lifestyle diseases.
